ITS Officer B. Sriramachandra Murty Empanelled for Joint Secretary Rank in Central Government

Mr. B. Sriramachandra Murty, a 1995-batch Indian Telecommunications Service (ITS) officer, has been formally empanelled by the Government of India to hold Joint Secretary or equivalent level positions at the Centre; this clearance by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet makes him eligible for appointment to various ministries and departments under the Central Staffing Scheme.
