Four Himachal Officers Officially Confirmed into the Indian Administrative Service

Four senior officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), belonging to the Himachal Pradesh State Cadre, have been officially confirmed in the service. The officers—Rakesh Sharma, Dr. Ashwani Kumar Sharma, Anupam Kashyap, and Yash Paul Sharma—represent a significant addition to the state’s senior administrative tier. This confirmation, formalized in late December 2025, marks the successful completion of their transition from the state administrative service (HPAS) to the premier federal civil service, granting them permanent status within the IAS.
