Nandini Paliwal Appointed Secretary to Delhi Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena

Ms. Nandini Paliwal, a 2003-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, has been appointed as the Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. The official order was issued by the Services Department on December 23, 2025, following directions from LG V.K. Saxena. Ms. Paliwal, who was previously serving as the Commissioner of Trade and Taxes with additional charge as Secretary (Services), has been relieved of all her prior duties to join her new assignment effective December 24, 2025. Her appointment comes at a critical time as the LG’s office manages high-profile urban challenges, including the ongoing air quality crisis and administrative restructuring.
