The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Mr. Nitesh Kumar Mishra as Additional Secretary in the Department of Youth Affairs, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. A distinguished officer of the 1995 batch of the Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS), Mr. Mishra moves into this senior leadership role to oversee the implementation of national youth development programs. His transition to the Department of Youth Affairs is expected to bring enhanced fiscal prudence and administrative streamlining to the ministry’s flagship initiatives.
