The President of India, in consultation with the Supreme Court Collegium, has appointed two senior judicial officers—Ramesh Chander Dimri and Ms. Neerja Kulwant Kalson—as Additional Judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. These appointments from the judicial service cadre are aimed at strengthening the bench of one of India’s largest high courts, which serves both states and the Union Territory of Chandigarh.
