The Government of NCT of Delhi has reassigned two senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers to critical departments. Sachin Rana has been appointed as the Special Secretary (Home), a vital role in overseeing the capital’s internal security and administrative coordination. Simultaneously, D. Varma, currently serving as a Member of the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB), has been handed the additional responsibility of Special Secretary (Planning), bridging urban development with long-term strategic planning for the city.
