Mr. Uttam Kumar Singh, an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME), has been officially transferred from his current posting at the Rail Wheel Plant (RWP) to the Indian Railway Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (IRIMEE). Following this transfer, he has been posted within the IRIMEE cadre. This move represents a transition from an operational production unit to a premier training and research institution, where his technical expertise in mechanical engineering will contribute to the specialized education and skill development of railway officers.
