Mr. Pankaj Kumar, an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME), has been transferred from the Indian Railway Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (IRIMEE) to South Eastern Railway (SER). Following the transfer, he has been posted within the cadre at SER. This transition marks a shift for the officer from a premier training and research environment back into an operational zonal role, where his technical expertise will be utilized in the maintenance and management of rolling stock assets in one of India’s most freight-intensive railway zones.
