In a significant step toward operationalizing the GST dispute resolution mechanism, Mr. Harinder Pal Singh Ghotra has been appointed as a Technical Member (State) of the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT). He will serve on the bench located in Punjab and Chandigarh. This appointment is part of the central government’s broader effort to fill key judicial and technical positions across GSTAT benches nationwide, ensuring a specialized forum for taxpayers to appeal against orders issued by GST authorities.
