Mr. Rajeev Mishra, a 2010-batch IPS officer of the Bihar cadre, has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The appointment is on a central deputation basis, moving him from state police responsibilities to a key leadership role within India’s premier industrial security agency. His induction into the CISF is expected to strengthen the force’s senior administrative layer, particularly in managing the security of critical infrastructure and strategic installations across the country.
