In a significant enhancement of the leadership at the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Mrs. Rekha Lohani, a distinguished 1997-batch IPS officer of the Odisha cadre, has been appointed as Additional Director General (ADG). Mrs. Lohani, known for her extensive experience in policing and central deputation, will now play a pivotal role in the high-level management of the SSB. This appointment comes at a time when the force is intensifying its vigil along India’s sensitive borders with Nepal and Bhutan.
