Ms. Prachi Singhal, a 2016-batch Indian Economic Service (IES) officer, has been appointed as Research Officer (Second Secretary) in the Economic Wing of the Embassy of India in Washington D.C., USA. Previously serving as Deputy Director in the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) under the Ministry of Finance, her transition to a diplomatic role underscores the government’s focus on strengthening economic diplomacy with the United States.
