Shri A.K.M. Kashyap, a veteran of the Indian administrative service framework, has been appointed as an Additional Director (Government Nominee Director) on the Board of the State Trading Corporation of India Limited (STC). The appointment, effective retrospectively from December 15, 2025, was formally approved by the Board via circulation on December 24, 2025. This follows an official order from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry dated November 25, 2025. In a dual leadership move, Mr. Kashyap was also inducted onto the board of MMTC Limited on December 16, 2025, replacing Ms. Aishvarya Singh (IAS), to strengthen administrative oversight across India’s premier trading enterprises.
