NEW DELHI — The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has formally approved a proposal by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways to entrust the additional charge of Chairperson, Cochin Port Authority to senior bureaucrat M. Angamuthu.
Angamuthu, a 2002-batch officer of the Assam-Meghalaya (AM) cadre currently serving as Chairman of the Mumbai Port Authority, will hold the Joint Secretary-level post at Cochin Port for a six-month duration, effective retroactively from June 30, 2026.
