AMARAVATI — The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued executive orders revoking the suspension of senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers Kanthi Rana Tata and Vishal Gunni, reinstating both into active service with immediate effect.
The decision follows recommendations from the Director General of Police (HoPF) and review of executive representations. The reinstatement orders explicitly stipulate that the lifting of suspension is without prejudice to ongoing departmental disciplinary proceedings and pending criminal investigations.
