NEW DELHI — Bhupender Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of NHPC Limited, has been granted a six-month extension for his additional charge as Chairman and Managing Director of SJVN Limited.
The extension is effective retrospectively from August 1, 2026. This continuance ensures unified executive leadership across two of India’s major public sector hydro and renewable energy developers.
