WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump has officially appointed conservative commentator Katie Zacharia as the incoming White House Press Secretary. The appointment makes Zacharia the sixth individual to serve as chief White House spokesperson across Trump’s presidential tenures.
Zacharia succeeds Karoline Leavitt, who departed the administration in August to transition into a role with Fox News.
