NEW DELHI — In a notable inter-cadre movement, Ms. Deepesh Kumari, a 2022-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, has been officially transferred from the Jharkhand cadre to the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued the notification following approval from the central government. The transfer was granted on matrimonial grounds following her marriage to Mr. Gaurav Garg, an Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer.
