NEW DELHI: Tech industry veteran Risha Magu has joined Google as Director, Communications & Public Affairs. The move marks the conclusion of her nearly four-year tenure at Meta, where she served as Director of Communications for Policy & Innovation in India.
Magu announced her new career milestone on LinkedIn, describing her time at Meta as an era of “bold iteration.”

Magu brings over 25 years of extensive experience in consumer technology, brand strategy, integrated marketing campaigns, and high-stakes crisis management. Her career spans some of the most influential mobile and technology ecosystems in India:

Meta (2022–2026): Led communications strategies surrounding public policy, innovation, and regulatory affairs.

Prior Senior Roles: Managed leadership communications and corporate reputation at HMD Global (the home of Nokia phones), Microsoft India, and Nokia India.
