NEW DELHI — The Central Government has appointed Prashant Dubey, a 2012-batch officer of the Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS), as Director in the Department of Consumer Affairs. The appointment was formalized through an order from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), placing the officer at the heart of national consumer policy and price monitoring.
