GANDHINAGAR (Feb 14, 2026) — In a strategic move to elevate India’s premier financial hub, the Government of Gujarat has appointed veteran banker Uday Suresh Kotak as the Chairman of Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) Co. Limited.
The appointment comes at a crucial juncture as GIFT City seeks to position itself as a global financial gateway rivaling hubs like Singapore and Dubai. Kotak succeeds Sudhir Mankad, who held the position during the city’s critical foundational years.
