PATNA — In a targeted restructuring of its mid-tier bureaucracy, the Government of Bihar has realigned the portfolios of 2012-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Arvind Kumar Verma. The senior administrator has been deployed to lead key healthcare and social security verticals within the state.
According to the official executive order issued by the General Administration Department, Verma has been relieved of his additional charge as Special Secretary in the Department of Industries. He has been assigned the concurrent responsibilities of Special Secretary, Health Department and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bihar Health Protection Committee (BHPC).
