KOLKATA — The Government of West Bengal has officially handed over an additional administrative charge to senior IAS officer Anshul Gupta, expanding his oversight into the state’s food security and supply chain network.
Gupta, a 2013-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the West Bengal cadre, currently serves as the Director of the Information and Cultural Affairs Department. Under the new state orders, he will concurrently assume the responsibilities of Director of District Distribution Procurement and Supply within the Food and Supplies Department.
