The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to extend the central deputation tenure of Raghav Langer (IAS: 2009) batch, Uttarakhand cadre) for a period of one year beyond his scheduled date of October 3, 2025; Mr. Langer will continue to serve in his crucial role as Secretary (Joint Secretary level) of the National Medical Commission (NMC), the apex regulator for medical education and professionals in India.
