NEW DELHI — The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension in temporary upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in the President’s Secretariat.
The post is currently held by Aneeta C Meshram, a 1996-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. Under the approved mandate, the upgraded tenure for the position will remain effective up to June 13, 2027.
