In a significant recalibration of the Border Security Force (BSF) leadership, two senior IPS officers have received new strategic assignments. Mr. Anand Pratap Singh has been transferred to the BSF Academy (ACY) in Tekanpur, Gwalior, a premier training institution for the force. Simultaneously, Mr. Sumit Sharan, who was recently elevated to the rank of Additional Director General (ADG), has been posted to the Headquarters of the Special Director General (Eastern Command) in Kolkata. These moves align senior expertise with critical training and operational oversight roles along India’s eastern borders.
