MUMBAI: In a significant top-tier reshuffle within the Mumbai Police hierarchy, senior IPS officer Anil Kumbhare has been appointed as the new Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch).
Kumbhare, a seasoned 2005-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Maharashtra cadre, moves into this high-profile investigative role from his previous assignment as the city’s Joint CP (Traffic).
