NEW DELHI — The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has signaled a clear preference for administrative stability by granting a substantial tenure extension to Ashish Vachhani, a key figure within the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
Vachhani, who currently serves as Additional Secretary, will now remain in his high-profile post for an additional two years.
