BENGALURU — Financial services provider Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company Limited has inducted veteran banker Sunil Kumar Chugh to its Board as an Additional Non-Executive Non-Independent Director.
Chugh, a Chartered Accountant and Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB), brings more than three decades of banking leadership across five major public sector banks, including Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India, and Canara Bank. With prior board-level tenures at PNB Cards & Services and Swift India Domestic Services, his extensive background in corporate credit, retail finance, MSME lending, and asset resolution will provide strategic depth to the insurer’s financial oversight and governance frameworks.
