Mrs. Bharathi Sivaswami Sihag, a distinguished former civil servant, has been empanelled for appointment as an Independent External Monitor (IEM). She is currently serving as an IEM for Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited (AWEIL), a major Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Defence. Her empanelment is part of the government’s rigorous effort to ensure transparency, integrity, and fair play in the high-value procurement and contracting processes within the defence production sector.
