A 2002-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Gujarat cadre, Venupillai is recognized for his long-standing commitment to professional excellence, integrity, and his pivotal role in leading high-stakes investigations. His leadership at the Delhi Zone—one of the CBI’s most critical operational units—has been instrumental in handling complex anti-corruption cases and economic offenses of national importance.
