NEW DELHI – The Government of India has approved the appointment of senior IPS officer Ashish Kumar Mishra as Commandant (General Duty) in the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). The appointment, made on a deputation basis, marks a significant shift for the officer from regional policing to a primary paramilitary leadership role.
