NEW DELHI – The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has officially announced the appointment of Shri Prasoon Joshi as the Chairman of the Prasar Bharati Board. The order, issued from Shastri Bhawan on May 2, 2026, follows the recommendations of the Selection Committee.
The appointment has been made by the President of India in exercise of the powers conferred by the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Act, 1990.
