BENGALURU – In a significant administrative move, the Government of Karnataka has officially extended the tenure of Dr. M.A. Saleem, IPS, as the Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG & IGP).
According to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR) on April 16, 2026, Dr. Saleem will continue to lead the state’s police force until August 29, 2027, or until further orders are issued.
