Mr. Gainilung Panmei has been officially promoted to the prestigious position of Joint Secretary & Legislative Counsel within the Indian Legal Service (ILS). This promotion elevates him to Grade-I of the service, a senior rank responsible for high-level legal drafting and advisory work. In this capacity, he will play a pivotal role in the Legislative Department of the Ministry of Law and Justice, contributing to the formulation, scrutiny, and drafting of central legislation, ordinances, and regulations for the Government of India.
