NEW DELHI — The Central Government has appointed Sunil Kumar Singh and Vatsala Jha, both 1992-batch officers of the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax), as Members of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT).
The induction of the senior IRS officers strengthens the apex policy-making body for direct taxes, which operates under the Department of Revenue within the Ministry of Finance.
