NEW DELHI — In a recent central bureaucratic movement, senior IPS officer A. Shiyas has been appointed as Inspector General (IG) in the Border Security Force (BSF) on a central deputation basis.
According to an official notification, the 2008-batch officer from the Madhya Pradesh cadre will serve in the paramilitary force for a tenure specified under central deputation guidelines or until further orders.
