NEW YORK — The Indian administrative footprint on the global stage continues to expand as Chetan P.S. Rao has been designated as the Principal Economic Affairs Officer (D-I) in New York, USA.
From Revenue to Global Policy
A member of the 2002 batch of the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax), Mr. Rao’s transition to this international role highlights the critical intersection of fiscal expertise and global economic diplomacy. In his new capacity, he will be based in the heart of the world’s financial capital, overseeing high-level economic policy and administrative functions at the D-I level.
