The Central Government has appointed Ms. Geeta Mohapatra, a senior officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Bengaluru-headquartered defence major Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).
Functioning under the aegis of the Department of Defence Production (Ministry of Defence), Ms. Mohapatra will serve a three-year tenure oversight term at the Navratna defence enterprise.
Before taking up her new responsibility at HAL, Ms. Mohapatra was serving on deputation as the Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hassan Mangalore Rail Development Company Limited (HMRDC).
