In a key administrative development, Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer Niraj Verma has been assigned the additional charge of Principal Chief Operations Manager (PCOM), Metro Railway.
Verma, who currently serves as the Principal Chief Operations Manager (PCOM) of Eastern Railway (ER), will now concurrently oversee traffic management, train scheduling, and operational strategy for both Eastern Railway and Kolkata Metro network systems.
