KOLKATA/NEW DELHI – In a significant administrative movement within the Indian Railways, Shri Sahil Bansal, an officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), has been transferred from the Eastern Railway (ER) to the Northern Railway (NR).
The transfer, finalized on February 5, 2026, was approved by the Railway Board following a formal request from the officer.
