In a significant move within the Kerala Police leadership, Mr. Karthick K, IPS, has been appointed as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) & Commissioner of Police for Thiruvananthapuram City. A 2011-batch officer of the Kerala cadre, he was previously serving as the DIG, Vigilance. His transfer to the state capital’s top police post is expected to bring a fresh focus on urban security, traffic management, and specialized investigations, given his extensive background in both district administration and anti-corruption wings.
