NEW DELHI — In a key administrative decision concerning railway IT and operational infrastructure, the Ministry of Railways has approved a two-year tenure extension for Rachit Khanna, an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE), serving on deputation with the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS).
Khanna, whose parent cadre post was Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer (Sr. DEE), Rolling Stock Operations (RSO), Delhi Division, Northern Railway (NR), will continue to serve as Chief Manager (CM) managing the Real-Time Train Information System (RTIS) and Crew Management System (CMS). The extension covers his sixth and seventh years of deputation, stretching his tenure up to October 28, 2028.
