NEW DELHI — Senior bureaucrat Ms. Nishtha Tiwari, IRS (IT) (2005), has been designated as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the Joint Secretary level for the Development and Welfare Board for Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Communities (DWBDNCs).
Operating under the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, the board plays a critical role in framing targeted welfare schemes and policy frameworks for marginalized communities. The appointment follows approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) as part of ongoing administrative realignments across central government ministries.
