NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a high-value official visit to Gujarat and the Union Territory of Daman on June 5, 2026. During the tour, the Prime Minister will inaugurate, dedicate to the nation, and lay the foundation stones for a massive cluster of multi-sectoral development projects cumulatively valued at over ₹21,700 crore.
The extensive executive itinerary will introduce transformative advancements across high-speed road networks, civil aviation, industrial utilities, and secondary healthcare infrastructure, alongside strategic maritime projects for the Union Territory of Lakshadweep.
Surat Real Estate & Transit: High-Value Core Infrastructure (₹18,800 Crore)
The Prime Minister will launch the first leg of his visit at approximately 2:30 PM at Hazira in the Surat district, conducting an operational review of ongoing industrial and infrastructure milestones. At 4:15 PM, he will headline a public assembly to officially launch a wave of critical projects spanning the road, power, and industrial sectors.

Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway: The Prime Minister will formally dedicate Packages VI and VII of the 8-Lane Access-Controlled Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway to the nation. These newly completed packages are engineered to drastically optimize high-speed transport, boost logistics throughput, and strengthen interstate economic corridors between Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Tribal Connectivity & Tourism (NH-56): He will lay the foundation stone for the four-laning of vital sections along National Highway 56. This targeted upgrade is designed to enhance connectivity across tribal regions and boost access to the Statue of Unity.

NAMO Hospital Dedication: He will dedicate the newly constructed NAMO Hospital—the premier district hospital for the Daman district—which is fully equipped to cater to nearly 1,500 outpatient department (OPD) individuals per day.
