NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi reached out to the Amir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah, via telephone to deliberate on the critical and rapidly shifting security dynamics in West Asia.
The high-level conversation centered on the evolving security situation in West Asia, with Prime Minister Modi conveying India’s profound anxiety over mounting regional hostiles. The Prime Minister firmly re-established India’s strong condemnation of attacks on Kuwait’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, signaling unwavering support for the Gulf nation’s borders.
Urging an immediate end to hostiles, Prime Minister Modi reiterated the call for de-escalation, dialogue, and diplomacy to ensure the swift return of peace and geopolitical stability to the region.
Additionally, the Prime Minister conveyed his deep appreciation to His Highness the Amir for his personal attention to the well-being and safety of the Indian diaspora living in Kuwait, highlighting the strong humanitarian bonds that underpin the diplomatic relationship between the two nations.
