Prabhat Kiran, who was recommended for the position by the Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) in August 2025, has been appointed as an Executive Director (ED) in Bank of Maharashtra; he was previously serving as a Chief General Manager (CGM) leading the Large Corporate Credit Wing at Canara Bank’s Head Office in Bengaluru, bringing his extensive experience from the public sector banking domain to the new leadership role.
