In a significant step for the leadership pipeline of SJVN Limited (formerly Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam), Mr. Rajesh Kumar Chandel has been selected for the pivotal post of Director (Projects). Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) within the organization, Chandel emerged as the top choice following a competitive Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on January 19, 2026. He was chosen from a pool of 12 high-level candidates interviewed for the role, marking a major internal promotion for the hydropower and renewable energy major.
