Having served as the state’s Chief Secretary until his recent superannuation, Dr. Pant’s immediate transition into this advisory and administrative role ensures that the top leadership retains his deep institutional knowledge and expertise in fiscal management. He will now act as the primary bridge between the political executive and the state bureaucracy.
