In a key administrative appointment, former senior IPS officer Shobha Ohatkar has been named Chairperson of the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) under the provisions of the BSSC Act, 2002.
Ohatkar, a retired officer of the 1990 batch Indian Police Service (IPS), previously served as the Director General (DG) of Bihar Home Guard and Fire Services prior to her superannuation.
